Single Flight, Singapore
Photo for February 2012: Single Flight.
The wait for the light was proving futile. The sun was hidden by the thickening layer of clouds and any sign of a beautiful sunset was diminishing. A look towards the horizon reminded me of the trees I had took note of when I was on board the train and walking further into the forest revealed the towering trees.
An observation brought the conclusion that the birds were using the tree as a regular perch so the waiting began. I wanted to get them in flight, on approach to the tree. Patience was not tested to the limits as a Common Mynah flew in. With hands on the remote and exposure and focus all set, luck married preparation.
