Photo for May 2012: Crashing PaineI could no longer feel the ground with my numb legs. The freezing waters, constant spray and high winds was constantly threatening to put my sunset shoot to a premature end. Welcome to Torres Del Paine National Park, Chile.A early morning recce located this shoreline that lined up nicely with the mountains in the background. With the iPhone as a scouting camera, I determined my angle and headed back in the evening. A pity there was a lack of light on the peaks but the experience was still an unforgetable one.Canon EOS 5D Mark II w/ Canon 16-35 L, processed in Aperture and Photoshop.
