Heartlands Trail , Singapore
I did not get to see the most exciting sunset that night but had a really blue sky. The sky was so blue, so much such that I wanted to reduce the "blue" in photoshop as I wasn't used to see such rich blues.
It all started with me, at the back of the lorry, noticing the block of flats (on the left) during a props trip with my film team. Something about that flats stood out. It could be the structure, the lighting or maybe just the clean neat corridors. It stood out.
I had in mind a certain way to capture this block. Unfortunately, there was no way I can except to knock on doors. After countless of block-search, stairwells and the likes, we finally decided on the block and the spot.
Till today, the seemingly never-ending road feels somewhat surreal. That's what makes these road trips exciting, discovering parts of Singapore and seeing new things.
