HOW WE BECOME …
Tripeaksimagery started out with Yeo Wee Han in 2007 who made Tripeaksimagery the first production company in Singapore to specialise in Time-lapse filmmaking. Along came Charmaine Yap in 2013 who has directed a couple of short films with a huge interest in all things beautiful and compelling. Together they worked hand in hand, Wee Han on the creation of cinematic visuals, and Charmaine on crafting the story and message.
They put together a group of talented and fun bunch of people to create the works that would bring Tripeaksimagery to what it is today. Individually and together, they have created notable timelapse and cinematic films, such as Graphicity, A Beautiful Day, For You I Dance and Wildlife of Singapore.

We are also adventurous landscape photographers, and an animal/environmental activist! It is said that the best places to worth going takes an average of 4 flights to get there, and that explains our almost-annual pilgrimage to Greenland, one of the best places to explore. We have since been camping in the wilderness of Greenland, ascending never-ending steps of Huangshan, seen ZhangJiaJie frozen, humbled by religion in Tibet, scurried around Hong Kong back alleys, discover the underrated countrysides of Hungary and Czech Republic, toured Northern Vietnam, do a road trip across New Zealand and Australia, got beaten by the cold in the majestic Torres Del Paine in Patagonia and met mooses in Abisko, Sweden.
If were to ask if we have any style to our works, the answer would simply be, it’s eclectic. We constantly challenge comfortable thinking zones, drawing inspirations from masters around the world, pick what works best and experiment extensively to pursue fresher perspectives. And we hope to share all that we learn with others, at the same time, learning from them as well.
